Sensitive & Health-Related Information (HIPAA-Adjacent)

As a doula practice, Canopy Doulas may receive limited health-related or sensitive personal information necessary to provide non-medical support services. While Canopy Doulas is not a HIPAA-covered entity, we voluntarily follow privacy and confidentiality practices consistent with HIPAA principles.

Sensitive information is used solely to provide doula services, accessed only by authorized personnel, and shared only with client consent or when legally required.

Payment Information

We collect and store payment information for billing and service-related purposes. Canopy Doulas does not store full payment credentials in plain text and does not use payment information for marketing or non-service-related purposes.

No Sale of Personal Information

Canopy Doulas does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal identifying information, including name, address, or phone number (NAP data), for marketing, advertising, or third-party commercial purposes.
